Event Volunteers support the Discovery Center by helping create smooth, engaging, and memorable experiences for guests during events and programs. Volunteers may assist with event setup and cleanup, guest welcome, activity support, crowd management, distributing materials, and general event operations. This role is a great fit for individuals who enjoy science, education, community engagement, and interacting with visitors of all ages.
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to volunteer independently.
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a Parent/Guardian Consent Form on file. Contact volunteers@dhdc.org for more information.
- Volunteers should enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
- Volunteers should be dependable, friendly, and willing to follow instructions.
