The Discovery Center Collective (DCC) combines the Don Harrington Discovery Center and Wildcat Bluff Discovery Center to spark curiosity, inspire lifelong learning, and strengthen community connections. Every day, we bring science, nature, and hands-on experiences to life for people of all ages—but we can’t do it without the support of passionate volunteers like you!

Our mission thrives on community involvement. With growing programs, events, and exhibits, we rely on volunteers to help us deliver exceptional experiences.

Volunteers make it possible for us to:

• Host exciting children’s events like Monster Bash, Wizarding School, and summer camps.
• Engage students across five states with field trips and hands-on science activities.
• Maintain over seven miles of trails and enhance educational opportunities at Wildcat Bluff.
• Support impactful adult events like Cheers at Wildcat Bluff and Dueling Pianos, which raise critical operating funds.
• Create welcoming, fun, and educational environments for families, schools, and community members.

• Event Support: Help set up, run, and tear down events, ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
• Education Assistance: Work alongside our staff to deliver programs, camps, and hands-on activities.
• Trail Maintenance: Keep Wildcat Bluff’s trails safe and beautiful for visitors year-round.
• Behind-the-Scenes Help: Assist with administrative tasks, organization, and exhibit preparation.
