CASA supports children and families in the child welfare system while increasing the well being of those children as well. We are of, and for the communities we serve and our volunteers provide a consistent presence in a child's life during their time in foster care.
Every child deserves one caring, stable adult in their lives. Help us serve the over 800 children in foster care in our area!
All interested applicants are required to complete an application, interview and background checks- CASA staff will provide guidance throughout the entire on-boarding process. Besides achieving clearance, an applicant will be required to choose a CASA training session to attend- CASA provides a training session every 6 weeks, fit to your schedule!
If you're interested in volunteering with CASA, our Recruitment Director, Azaley Pulley, hosts two CASA 101 sessions via our Facebook page "Amarillo Area CASA, Inc." These info sessions are short and sweet and will answer any questions you have about the program, including questions about training!
