The Salvation Army is serving Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day from 12:00-2:30 at the Harrington Hope Center, 400 S. Harrison.
We welcome those who are in need and may feel isolated to come share a feast prepared by Tremaine Brown of Shi Lee’s Barbecue and Soul Food Restaurant and by the Salvation Army staff.
Volunteers are welcome to help host, serve, and clean up for the community event.
Some food items are still needed, including vegetables such as green beans, corn, and potatoes for preparation in our kitchen.
Dessert items are also welcomed and voraciously consumed!
Please drop off items at The Salvation Army office from 8:30 – 5:00 today through Wednesday next week. (closed for the noon hour)
Volunteers may report on Thanksgiving Day from 11:00 – 3:00 to Cadet James Guzman at 400 S. Harrison.
