Event Photography Volunteers help capture the excitement, curiosity, and discovery that happen during special events and programs at the Discovery Center. Volunteers may photograph special events, workshops, lectures, exhibits, and community programs for promotional and advertising use. This role is a great fit for individuals skilled in photography, student photographers, or anyone who enjoys working in science and photography!
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to volunteer independently.
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a Parent/Guardian Consent Form on file. Contact volunteers@dhdc.org for more information.
- Volunteers should have experience in photography.
- DHDC will provide camera equipment. Volunteers may choose to bring their own camera. but will need to transfer all photos over after the event.
Volunteers must pass a criminal background check. There is no cost to the volunteer for this background check.
