Exhibit Remodel - Woodworking

Help us transform our exhibit spaces!

Do you enjoy building, repairing, or creating things with your hands? We're seeking volunteers 16 years and older with woodworking experience to help renovate and improve exhibits throughout the Discovery Center.

Volunteers may assist with:
Building and repairing exhibit components
Basic carpentry and woodworking projects: sanding, assembly, and installation
Creating durable, hands-on exhibit features for guests

Whether you're a skilled woodworker, carpenter, hobbyist, or DIY enthusiast, your expertise can help us create engaging experiences for thousands of visitors each year.

Volunteer Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years old
Volunteers under 18 require a parent/guardian signature
Volunteers 18 and older must complete a background check

Shifts are available daily between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Volunteers are welcome to serve for any portion of that time—there is no requirement to stay for the full day.
