Exhibit Woodworking Volunteers help transform and improve exhibit spaces at the Discovery Center. Volunteers may assist with building and repairing exhibit components, sanding, assembling, installing pieces, and supporting basic carpentry or woodworking projects. This role is a great fit for skilled woodworkers, carpenters, hobbyists, or DIY enthusiasts who want to help create a durable, hands-on experience for visitors.
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer independently.
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a Parent/Guardian Consent Form on file. Contact volunteers@dhdc.org for more information.
- Volunteers MUST have woodworking, carpentry, or related hands-on building experience.
- Volunteers should be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to follow instructions.
