Panhandle Cancer Cure Foundation is seeking applicants to join the Board of Directors.
We are a local 501 (c) (3) that focuses on easing the financial burden of those going through a cancer or blood disease diagnosis who are from or seeking treatment in the Texas Panhandle. This has been our mission since 2009, and we continue the fight with director support to patients, a patient pantry, and support groups.
PCCF is a financially stable and established non-profit. Our needs are to add active and engaged members of the board. The commitment is to attend approximately. 10 board meetings a month, work on commitments or with officers, and help with operations such as application processing, event planning, bookkeeping, website, and social media operations as needed. It's a more hands-on and active role than most boards, and that is why it takes a dedicated and committed person to be a PCCF board member.
We need members from all walks of life, but have need of those with skills that would benefit PCCF, such as a lawyer, CPA, marketing, or branding. All are encouraged to apply.
