Office Volunteer

Office Assistant Volunteers support the Discovery Center by helping with clerical and administrative tasks that keep daily operations running smoothly. Volunteers may assist with filing, mailing, data entry, scanning documents, organizing office spaces, labelling digital photos, and maintaining physical or digital records. Other duties as assigned. This role is a great fit for people who are detail-oriented, organized, and are interested in supporting science education behind the scenes. 

Requirements:

• Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to volunteer independently.
  • Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a Parent/Guardian Consent Form on file. Contact volunteers@dhdc.org for more information. 
• Volunteers should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow instructions. 
• Previous office/clerical experience helpful, not required.

Shift for this position typically occur M-F, 12:00-1:00PM. Volunteers with different availability may contact volunteers@dhdc.org to set up a time outside these hours.
