Who We Are

The Bridge Children's Advocacy Center is a child friendly facility that allows law enforcement, child protection services, prosecutors and the medical and mental health communities to work together to assist child victims in a comprehensive and cohesive manner.

The Bridge is best known for our forensic interviews.  Children who have been victims of abuse are brought to The Bridge and interviewed by specially trained forensic interviewers.  The interviews are digitally record and used in place of the child having to tell their story over and over again, being re-victimized each time they tell it.  We interview over 1,000 children per year (from across the panhandle).

Our mission is to empower Texas Panhandle children, nurturing their journey toward healing and justice. We work to achieve the mission by collaborating with over 70 partner agencies across the 26 counties of the panhandle.

What We Do

The Bridge offers many services including:  Forensic Interviewing, Victim's Assistance and Community and Safety Education Programs.  The Bridge encourages volunteers to find a place to get involved.
