We are looking for some amazing volunteers to help deliver Opportunity School Valentine's cookies in Amarillo and Canyon on Wednesday, February 14! Everyone will be delighted to see your faces with the yummy cookies in tow. Please add your phone number in the notes as well as your email address. We will send out a reminder email to all volunteers the day before!
If you plan to partner with another volunteer on a route, both volunteers should sign up and indicate their partner in the notes!
Here are the basics for this volunteer opportunity:
- On Wednesday, Feb. 14 between 8:00 and 8:15am, arrive at First Presbyterian Church NORTH END entrance (near the Great Hall) on the 11th Street side of the church. The main address is 1100 S. Harrison. Park on 11th Street and come in the north doors.
- You'll be given your route, your allotment of cookies and stickers to put on the cookie boxes.
- Deliver cookies between 8 a.m. and noon, some routes may go a little longer but we want everything delivered as early in the day as possible.
- If no one answers the door, leave the cookies in an elevated spot on the porch.
- Return to First Presbyterian Church with completed route list by noon. Share any issues or problems you have with Brandie or Jill. Most routes are about 20-25 stops and are timed at about 3.5-4 hours, but if you finish early, you are done!
- If you have additional time to donate, please feel free to ask for an additional route if there is one available!
