FSS requests volunteers to help implement the Mardi Gras Party. We will have two shifts of volunteers during the party, approximately 6:30-8:30pm and 8:30-10:30pm (times vary a little depending on station and may begin as early as 6pm.) Casino volunteers have a different shift – 7:30-9:30, and need to come at 7 so they can eat before the Casino opens.
Volunteers will help with Tickets/Greeters, Auctions, VIP Area, Food Service, Mardi Gras Store, and Casino. With our mobile/online silent auction, it is important that volunteers in this area are relatively tech-savvy. We are also looking for 2-4 people to work on the computers (2 6-8 and 2 8-10) getting people registered to bid.
Each volunteer will receive a free meal valued at $25. Food service ends at 9, but all shifts of volunteers will be able to enjoy the meal when not on their shift.
It is very helpful if volunteers are flexible on shift time and station so we can adequately staff the party. We cannot guarantee everyone will get their first choice of placement.
