Family Support Services would be honored to have volunteers assist us during our Mardi Gras Party on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Amarillo Civic Center Heritage Ballroom.

FSS requests volunteers to help implement the Mardi Gras Party. We will have two shifts of volunteers during the party, approximately 6:30-8:30pm and 8:30-10:30pm (times vary a little depending on station and may begin as early as 6pm.) Casino volunteers have a different shift – 7:30-9:30, and need to come at 7 so they can eat before the Casino opens. Spouses/partners are welcome to volunteer as well. The main thing is, we need all who sign up to attend so that we can make sure the party runs smoothly.
Volunteers will help with Tickets/Greeters, Auctions, VIP Area, Food Service, Mardi Gras Store, and Casino. With our mobile/online silent auction, it is important that volunteers in this area are relatively tech-savvy. We are also looking for 2-4 people to work on the computers (2 6-8 and 2 8-10) getting people registered to bid. NOTE: We need more volunteers to help with Food Service this year as part of our commitment to the caterer.
NOTE: This event can accommodate a limited number of volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis. It is helpful if volunteers will give us the flexibility to assign them where needed.
