Independence City is an empowering, immersive simulation event designed specifically for youth who are transitioning out of or have already aged out of the foster care system. This program provides a safe and supportive environment where participants can experience the realities of adult life, helping them develop essential life skills and gain confidence in their ability to navigate the challenges that lie ahead. Independence City is designed as a simulated town where participants can visit various locations representing real-life scenarios. Each area is staffed by volunteers who will guide participants through the experience.
