Exhibit Remodel - Painting

Exhibit Painting Volunteers help refresh and improve exhibit spaces at the Discovery Center. Volunteers may assist with priming and painting playhouses, completing touch-up painting, preparing surfaces, and supporting other exhibit renovation projects as needed. This role is a great fit for professional painters, home improvement enthusiasts, or anyone with painting experience who wants to hep create a vibrant and engaging space for children to learn through play. 

Requirements:

• Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer independently.
  • Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a Parent/Guardian Consent Form on file. Contact volunteers@dhdc.org for more information. 
• Volunteers are not required to have painting or related hands-on building experience, but should be comfortable learning.
• Volunteers should be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to follow instructions.

Shift for this position typically occur M-F, 9:00AM-5:00PM. THIS IS A COME AND GO TIME FRAME. VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO STAY THE WHOLE TIME. Volunteers with different availability may contact volunteers@dhdc.org to set up a time outside these hours.
