Disaster Training

The Salvation Army is on the front line when it comes to natural disasters all over the world. We rely heavily on our volunteers and we want our volunteers to have the proper training to help assist in a time of disaster. At The Salvation Army we can provide training for you to serve your community during a natural disaster. We tackle natural disasters one volunteer at a time. Will you be a volunteer. We are hosting a 3 training in your area on April 27th/28th in Amarillo, TX at 2021 S. Van Buren St. Our first class, SERV SAFE, will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Our second class, Canteen Operations, will be held on Saturday, April 28th from 8:00am to 4:00pm. In the Canteen Operations class you will learn the basics of operating a Salvation Army canteen. ServSafe will teach you correct food preparation and handling techniques.
