General Volunteer Posting:
AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to bring comfort, companionship and care to patients and facing life-limiting illnesses. As a hospice volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference- offering a listening ear, sharing stories, or simply being a quiet presence during this special time.
Volunteer Opportunities include:
- Companionship visits with patients and families
- reading, music, games, or life activities
- Caregiver relief
- Emotional support
- Office/ clerical support for the Hospice team
- Assisting with events or bereavement support
- Care calls to patients
- Vigil volunteering for patients in their final hours

Requirements:
To ensure the safety and quality of care we provide, all Direct care volunteers must complete
- Background check
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- Drug screening
- volunteer training modules
- Valid Government I.D.
- Valid Visa and Social Security number (for identification and screening process)
