General Volunteer Posting: AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to bring comfort, companionship and care to patients and facing life-limiting illnesses. As a hospice volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference- offering a listening ear, sharing stories, or simply being a quiet presence during this special time. Volunteer Opportunities include: • Companionship visits with patients and families • reading, music, games, or life activities • Caregiver relief • Emotional support • Office/ clerical support for the Hospice team • Assisting with events or bereavement support • Care calls to patients • Vigil volunteering for patients in their final hours Why Volunteer with HOSPICE: Hospice volunteers are vital part of the care team.
