7 Star Horse Therapy

7 Star is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that began in 2004.  Our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with mental and physical challenges through equine-assisted therapy.  Our vision is to facilitate healing of the mind, body, and spirit through the grace and strength of the horse. Our volunteers do not need horse experience to join us!

7 Star's volunteers are essential to our Therapeutic Riding program. Most of our Therapeutic riding clients are children but we also have adults. Our volunteers enjoy interacting with our clients as they assist them with exercises and activities. We need three volunteers for each client. One volunteer leads the horse(these do need some horse experience) and two side-walkers (these do not need any experience) to stabilize and assist the client. We train our volunteers so please feel free to come to see us. Each session is one hour with lots of walking. No gym is needed here! You can do one session or more than one.
