Panhandle Orphan Care Network

We are Panhandle Orphan Care Network, and we believe caring for children in foster care is a community responsibility. Our volunteers help ensure that every child entering foster care in the Texas Panhandle receives a Placement Package—meeting immediate needs and reminding families they are supported. Whether you’re packing bags, delivering supplies, serving behind the scenes, or spreading the word, you are helping bring stability, dignity, and love into some of the hardest moments a child and family will face.

Panhandle Orphan Care Network serves children and families at the moment they enter foster care by providing customized Placement Packages filled with essential items like clothing, diapers, car seats, and hygiene supplies—along with comfort items such as a blanket, book, toy, and teddy bear. These packages are tailored to each child’s needs and delivered across the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle, often within hours of placement. Beyond meeting immediate physical needs, we support foster families through connection, resources, and community partnerships—ensuring no child enters care with nothing and no family walks the journey alone
