Who We Are

At Transformation Park, we believe no one should have to face hardship alone. Every day, we welcome individuals who are unhoused, disadvantaged, or simply in need of a helping hand. But what makes our mission unique is not just the services we provide — it’s the Community we build together.

Our Volunteers are not separate from the people we serve. Many of them come from low-income backgrounds themselves, bringing with them resilience, compassion, and lived experience. Side by side, Volunteers and Visitors share meals, laughter, and stories. In this way, we are not just providing food, laundry, restrooms, or job training — we are creating a community where every person is seen, valued, and treated with dignity.

What We Do

Our mission is to serve our homeless population with the care and compassion we all deserve by bringing the City of Amarillo, local churches, and the commerce community together to help meet their basic needs.

Our vision is to provide a welcoming, safe, caring, and compassionate place for the homeless community to gather and have their basic needs met. We believe that by meeting these basic needs, our clients will be better positioned to transition out of homelessness and into long-term, permanent housing.

Our work is grounded in five core values:

Create Community: We foster spaces where people find belonging, connection, and support.

Renew Hope: Every act of kindness offers someone the belief that tomorrow can be better.

Restore Humanity: We see people not for their circumstances, but for their worth and potential.

Transform Lives: Through training, resources, and relationships, we help people take steps toward stability and independence.

Serve Humbly: We believe true service means walking alongside others, not above them.
