As a Vet-to-Vet volunteer, you'll receive specialized training to provide companionship, compassionate listening, and participate in meaningful veteran pinning ceremonies. By sharing your time, you'll help us honor the sacrifices made for our country and our freedom.

Requirements:

Volunteer your sewing and skills to craft personal memory pillows or bears from special clothing or blankets.

Use your sewing skills to craft personalized keepsakes that families and loved ones will cherish. Memory Pillows are handmade from clothing, a favorite blanket, or another special fabric that belonged to patients.

All materials are provided and ever pillow or bear you create brings comfort and lasting memories to those we serve.

Office Volunteer - Help Support our Hospice Care Team and Patients

Description:

AccentCare Hospice is looking for compassionate and organized office volunteers to help support our hospice team behind the scenes. Your time and attention to detail help ensure patients and families receive the care and comfort they deserve.

Responsibilities may include:

Preparing in-home binders for new patients and families Answering Phones Preparing and sending care packages to patients and families Writing letters or cards to patients for encouragement and comfort Organizing supplies Assisting with special projects, mailing, and volunteer events
