Volunteer: Hunger Project Store VolunteersYou can make a huge impact in someone’s life by helping us provide food to those who are experiencing food insecurity in Amarillo and the surrounding area by donating your time in helping us prepare food boxes. We continue to serve our senior population who are experiencing food insecurity and those of any age affected by COVID-19. We are seeking volunteers to unload, stock, sort, and bag or box food. Volunteer hours can be anytime between Monday through Friday 9 am to 3 pm, with additional hours available on Wednesdays (5:00 to 6:00 pm). Currently we are distributing food to individuals on a drive-thru basis while following safety protocols to include mandatory use of face masks and gloves.
