Dove Creek Equine Rescue Open House

Open House at Dove Creek Equine Rescue and Sanctuary
May 16th, 2015 9 a.m to 1 p.m.

The day's activities will feature horses that are ready for adoption and those that are in need of sponsorship.  Guests will have the opportunity to watch the rescue horses both under saddle and in hand.  As the priority of any rescue is to reduce the number of unwanted horses, the main goal of the Open House is to educate the local community about horse ownership.

The following topics will be presented by local professionals and will be FREE to the public.

• Yearly Veterinarian Care Of Your Horse
• Equine Nutrition
• Anatomy Of The Horse
• Grooming
• Tack
• Horsemanship

In addition, local riding groups will have information tables so that you can learn about opportunities to be part of the panhandle horse community.  It will be a day of fun and learning and a chance for you to meet our most recently rehabilitated horses.
