Who We Are

We build wheelchair ramps for the low-income in the Panhandle area at totally no cost to the recipients. We are a completely volunteer organization comprised of area residents desiring to help their fellow residents by ensuring they have easy access to their homes.

What We Do

The volunteers of the Texas Ramp Project in Amarillo build wheelchair ramps for the low-income disabled.  Our service area extends to Armstrong, Briscoe, Carson, Castro, Childress, Collingsworth, Dallam, Deaf Smith, Donley, Gray, Hall, Hansford, Hartley, Hemphill, Hutchinson, Lipscomb, Moore, Ochiltree, Oldham, Parmer, Potter, Randall, Roberts, Sherman, Swisher and Wheeler counties.

 

The Ramp Project only accepts client referrals from social service agencies and health care professionals - social workers, therapists, home health workers etc.
