Anyone Can Volunteer
RSVP Volunteers come from all walks of life. All simply have the desire to share their time, knowledge, talents and experience with those who need them. The only requirement is that you are 55 years of age or older.
Share your skills and experience
RSVP Volunteer opportunities are as diverse as the people themselves. The program strives to match volunteer assignments with the specific interests and skills of the individual. Whatever RSVP volunteers choose to do, they provide more than skills and knowledge, they give their friendship, they give their hearts and they give of themselves.
Work as much or as little as your time allows
Select a specific time each week to serve, or volunteer when your special interest, skills or experience is needed.
Volunteer for your favorite charity or organization
Where you volunteer is completely your decision! There are so many areas within the Texas Panhandle that could use your help. Choose an agency, school, hospital, or organization that is best suited to your skills, interests and time commitment. You can volunteer on a regular basis at certain places or be “on call” to do short-term jobs wherever they are needed.
