Who We Are
The Greater Amarillo Foster Parent Association (GAFPA) was founded in 1976 as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation to meet the unique needs of foster families in the Texas Panhandle. We understand the profound impact of separation, loss, and trauma on children and youth in foster care, kinship, and adoption. That is why we extend our support to help families address special needs, strengthen relationships, and deepen attachment and bonding resulting from foster care and adoption.
