Who We Are
Panhandle Community Services is a non-profit, community based organization offering a variety of programs and services to assist low-income individuals and families. Our programs and services are designed with the goal of bridging the gap between poverty and self-sufficiency. We are the only Community Action Agency in the Texas Panhandle.
What We Do
PCS recently began a new program. We are proud to be a part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant Program VITA. Now eligible, low to moderate-income, wage-earning taxpayers will be able to receive tax preparation and filing absolutely free. Our tax preparers are fully trained and certified through IRS approved training.
